Founder's Message
In 2022, we established Clothxtra in Dhaka, recognizing a gap in the children's fashion market in Bangladesh. Although numerous online stores offered kids' clothing, they often overlooked the unique charm of children's fashion—the enchantment of favorite characters, the thrill of donning a superhero costume, and the delight of spinning in a Barbie dress.
The traditional offerings were primarily limited to basic t-shirts and formal Chinese-style dresses, particularly for special events. Parents seeking comfortable, knitted apparel featuring beloved characters like Mickey Mouse or Barbie often found themselves disappointed. We identified an opportunity to introduce something fresh for the youngest fashion lovers in Bangladesh.
Launching a children's clothing brand presented its own set of challenges. We encountered numerous obstacles, from sourcing high-quality materials to refining our manufacturing techniques. However, we were motivated by a clear vision: to create garments that would bring joy to both children and their parents.
Today, we meticulously choose premium knit fabrics and craft them into unique designs in our factory. While this process may require more time and investment in superior materials, witnessing the joy on children's faces as they wear our creations reassures us that every additional effort is worthwhile.
